Frequently asked questions
Which dental cost calculators are available here?
You can calculate the cost of dental implants, all on 4 full-arch treatment, crowns and root canal treatment from your own quotes. There is also an NHS dental charges calculator for England and Scotland, a dental finance calculator for monthly payments, and a live clock showing the time in Turkey with a converter for appointments.
Why don't the calculators show average prices?
Dental treatment is very individual, and the General Dental Council says there are no set limits on what practices charge for private treatment. Average prices can easily mislead. The calculators therefore work only with the amounts from your own quote or treatment plan, so you see what your plan costs and which items make up the biggest share.
How much are NHS dental charges?
In England, from 1 April 2026, Band 1 costs £27.90, Band 2 £76.60 and Band 3 £332.10, and urgent treatment £27.90. In Scotland you pay 80% of the cost of NHS treatment, up to £384 per course. Some people get free treatment. The NHS dental charges calculator applies these rules to your own course of treatment.
Do the calculators replace advice from a dentist?
No. They help you organise numbers and compare quotes. Only your treatment plan, the written quote and any agreement with your practice or lender are binding. Whether a treatment is right for you, and which option suits your teeth, is something to discuss with your dentist.
Can I compare a UK quote with a quote from Turkey?
Yes. Run the implant, all on 4 or crown calculator once for each quote and check that both include the same items. Travel, hotel and follow-up visits are not part of a dental quote. The UK government advises discussing plans with your UK dentist before going ahead with treatment abroad.
